The footbridge takes the Thames Path across the busy approach road and Tunnel Ave, and this view is looking towards the industry on the western side of the road. Rather to my surprise the two large buildings are still there next to the road, part of a group of three, though now disguised with off-white metallic cladding on their upper half. They are now owned by Brenntag UK, a distribution company on Tunnel Ave. The buildings beyond were I think part of Morden Wharf, which until 2009 was the home of Tunnel Refineries and will soon be the site of another riverside development of around 1500 homes.
I rather live the dull grey look of this image, due to flare from sunlight on the lens.
