Taken from above the mouth of the Blackwall tunnel, traffic is queueing, probably as far as the A2 junction. At left are the chimneys of Greenwich Power Station and at top centre the cranes of the Victoria Deep Water Terminal above a line of containers. The sun on a February morning is only just out of picture, resulting in considerable flare and ghost images. Probably too there is some haze from the traffic fumes and this certainly was not a healthy place to be.
