Peter Marshall

Born London 1945, Peter has photographed London extensively since 1983. His work is largely in the documentary and urban landscape traditions. Several hundred of his pictures of buildings and other structures are in the collection of the RCHME (National Buildings Record). Publications include Creative Camera Collection 5 (1978), p184-5, and British Journal of Photography Annual 1988, p126-7. Still Occupied - A View of Hull with roughly 140 of his pictures was shown at the Ferens Art Gallery, Hull in 1983. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions. Recent one person shows have included those at the FotoArt Festival 2005 in Poland and Foto Arte 2007 in Brasilia. As well as photographing he also writes about photography, mainly for the '>Re-PHOTO' website. Until recently he taught part time in further education.

These pictures are a small sample of around a hundred thousand taken by Peter Marshall in London and elsewhere since the mid-80's in this area of work.

Copies of these pictures ready for mounting and framing for personal use only are available at only £45 for a '8x10' (image approx 6" by 9") print plus a handling charge of £5 per order.
